YOR (Young, Old, and Restless)
Social Action Task Force

YOR Social Action seeks to provide intergenerational social action activities for JUC members and friends. We hope to raise the awareness of our children, teens, and young adults on issues of homelessness, poverty, environmental stewardship, and political issues. YOR is comprised of three sub-committees:

1. Family Social Action focuses on organizing intergenerational activities.
2. Social Action Sundays are a part of the YRE program and consist of classroom lessons with social action themes and activities.
3. The Teen and Young Adult subcommittee provides support for social action projects such as the Heifer Project, Habitat for Humanity, and Peace Jam.
