8:30 / 10 / 11:30 a.m. • Nursery and Toddlers

The nursery staff Kristi Johnson, and volunteers offer care for all infants and toddlers until they are ready to enter the preschool class.

8:30 / 10 / 11:30 a.m. • 3/4 year old Preschool: Chalice Children

This program encourages children to use their minds, bodies and emotions to develop their sense of identity and self-esteem within their Unitarian Universalist community and their world.

8:3 / 10 / 11:30 • Grades K-6

Fall Trimester • UU Identity & Values

Elementary students will learn about Unitarian and Universalist heritage through stories about some of the people and places that have been most important in our history.

Winter Trimester • Stories from the Christian Heritage

Examine the formative stories of the life of Jesus as told in the various gospels with a focus on Jesus' justice making efforts in his ministry.

Spring Trimester • Buddhism

As a part of a rotating approach to world religious perspectives we will explore variations of beliefs, customs, and origins among a world religion.

10 a.m. • 6th -8th Grade: Neighboring Faiths

Throughout the year we will explore many of our surrounding churches. We will take Sunday morning field trips to surrounding churches to see how they "do" church.

10 a.m. • 7th Grade • Our Whole Lives (OWL)

The class will begin the UU Human Sexuality curriculum, Our Whole Lives. Presented by specially trained teachers from the congregation, OWL explores the questions prevalent among young adolescents and provides valuable information and lessons in communication to build a healthy approach to their sexuality as they grow.

11:30 a.m. • 8th Grade • Coming of Age (COA)

Young teens explore UU traditions, their own beliefs, the beliefs of their mentor and other trusted adults, and their own identities and abilities in the context of their trusted community. They will have an opportunity to talk with our ministers, experience a vision quest, and create a rite of passage service at the end of the year in which they will be welcomed to the Senior High youth group.

11:30 a.m. • 9-12th Grade • Senior High Class

Discussions led by adult facilitators. Topics decided on by the teens during the year.
