Guidelines for Preliminary Proposal for Large Grants

We invite proposals for TSAF Large Grants (for amounts larger than $1000).

The following are guidelines for the preliminary proposal, due April 1.

A preliminary proposal or letter of intent to TSAF should be an introductory description of the formal proposal that will follow. It should enable the Taguchi Social Action Fund directors to evaluate whether or not the proposal fits the TSAF mission and goals.

It should include brief descriptions of the following:

• Social needs and/or societal issues the proposed project might address
• Goals and objectives of the proposed work
• Strategies for effecting change and initiating systemic change

In addition the document should indicate a JUC group who might sponsor the project as well as any potential collaboration with an outside group, if that is envisioned.

Final proposal deadline is June 15.
