The Year of Living Biblically: One Man's Humble Quest to Follow the Bible as Literally as Possible by A. J. Jacobs.
The author's quest, in Manhatten, to follow the 10 commandments, be fruitful and multiply, love thy neighbor, and the hundreds of less publicized rules such as avoiding wearing clothing made of mixed fibers is both fun and profound.

The JUC Books with Religtious Themes Group is dedicated to discussion of novels
with overtly religious themes. The Group was founded in fall of 2001. The
Group meets on a monthly basis and is open to everyone who has read the
book, seen the movie, or studied the Cliff Notes.
