CURK Activities
Family Winter Celebration
Crafts and fun with an intergenerational potluck afterward. Usually takes place in early December.
Easter and Spring Celebration
Easter egg decorating and other fun activities with an intergenerational potluck afterward.
Halloween Party
Games, dress-up and Halloween fun for all ages.
Cakes and Conversation
An evening of conversation with friends at JUC. Childcare is provided. Cakes and Conversation is usually 6-9 pm once per month at JUC. Check the schedule and JUC Crier for dates and details.
All-Church Picnics
Fun and games –just like an old-fashioned church picnic. Usually takes place in the Fall.
PNO/PDO (Parent’s Night Out and Parent’s Day Out)
Volunteer to look after JUC kids in the nursery one Saturday and earn three days or evenings of free babysitting. PNO happens once a month. Sign up at the Sign-up area in JUC Commons or contact Lisa and David Nickum 303-463-1527
Stork Service for New Babies
We welcome new JUC babies with meals for the proud families and a baby gift from the JUC quilters or knitters. If you are expecting or adopting a new babe, contact Gillie Bishop (gdenglish@yahoo.com; 720-519-4948).
Social Action
Join in the fun while helping others. Look for various Social Action events in the Crier.
JUC Campout
JUC families join together for a 2 night campground stay in the summer.
Parent Education
CURK organizes Parent Education sessions such as Healthy Children, Healthy Planet classes, and Love and Logic classes
JUCFamilies Yahoo Group
