JUC Silent and Live Auction
JUC’ers – here’s your chance to drop the day to day hum-drum routine and let your hair down and “Go Wild” on Saturday, November 12, 2011.
Parents – “Go Wild!” Has it been far too long since a date night? The JUC Silent and Live Auction offers dinner, child care, a carefree evening of mingling with your JUC friends plus shopping at JUC’s auction, all under one roof, for an unbelievable low price. Child care, dinner, snacks and entertainment for your child for the evening – all for $5. Adult cost is $15 and the family entrance fee is only $40.
Kids – “Go Wild!” Dump the parents, play, get some fun toys at the children’s auction, see a movie and other entertainment we’ve got planned for you.
Newcomers to JUC – “Go Wild!” Meet more of your fellow JUC’ers on a crazy, fun Saturday night.
Teens & Young Adults – “Go Wild!” Come and see your parents Going Wild.
In addition to delicious food and great socializing, you’ll have a chance to bid on items that will fill your social calendar and enable you to form close connections with many other members. Let’s not forget that you’ll also be supporting all the terrific JUC programs for the next year.
We encourage you to donate at least one item to the auction. To get you started, we have included a short list of popular items for you to consider (see link). If you are stumped, stop at the Auction Table on Sundays and talk with one of the volunteers who will help you explore possibilities. Generally, used items are not appropriate for the auction, however, if you have something that is gently used, but may have high appeal, feel free to call the Auction Chairperson!
Speaking of volunteers … we have LOADS of volunteer opportunities, before, during and after the auction, and we would LOVE (and need!) your help! Sign up at the Auction Table.
From all of us on the Auction Committee, thank you in advance for your support. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, would like to help, or just need some ideas for donations.
