JUC Child Dedications
We are having our Child Dedication Ceremony on Sunday, May 11th. Why go through a Child Dedication Ceremony?
- Acknowledge your child’s place in your family and in this church community.
- Allow the community the opportunity to acknowledge and embrace your child and family as important members.
- Give your child the experience of fully being welcomed into this community and the UU faith.
Child dedications are this church’s opportunity to dedicate ourselves to nurturing and nourishing your child while creating a sense of belonging to this church. It is a commitment to raise your child in your UU faith with all the loving support we can provide.
The ceremony is brief and very sweet! We look forward to celebrating the wonderful life of your child in our midst, and dedicate ourselves to help raise your child within our church community. The CURK committee would like to invite our newly dedicated children and families to a welcoming receptionin the Mills chapel after each service. Come find out what your church community has to offer!
